Henry Adams had access to an elite education, as he was surrounded by people of high standing. Yet it did not satisfy him fully, prompting him to seek self-education through experience and friendships. This eventually resulted in The Education of Henry Adams – a critical study on nineteenth century educational theory and practice which won him the 1919 Pulitzer Prize.
He bemoaned his formal education, grounded in classics, history and literature, was inadequate to prepare him for the rapid changes that would occur over the following half century. Davante Adams is an American football wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL), having been born December 24, 1992 in Redwood City, California.
