The storage space is better used with built-in wardrobes

Access heights are also important and should be planned before buying. What is not used regularly, such as the seasonal wardrobe that is not in use, can be stored in the upper areas. To protect it from dust, you could use boxes or protective covers. It is advisable to think of additional moth protection. Herbs like lavender and cedarwood help with this.

For the small apartment, there are built-in cupboards that can be precisely adapted to the existing floor plans and thus save a lot of space. Whether you opt for sliding, rotating or normal folding doors is just a matter of taste. Sliding doors are ideal for narrow rooms. A made-to-measure wardrobe is an optimal solution for every room, because it combines good looks with an individual storage system. In this way, storage space is optimally used and everything finds its place. However, the price for such built-in units is usually much higher than that for a comparably large free-standing cabinet. There are actually no “normal” cabinets. More than ever, manufacturers have oriented themselves towards the individual wishes of their customers and offer wardrobes as modular building block systems. In addition, a wide range of colors, surfaces, materials and equipment is offered.
