Brenner Thomas is a fine artist exhibiting in numerous solo, group, and juried exhibitions. Additionally, he teaches art and photography at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport CT.

From November 2010 to August 2018 he served as head writer of Thomas & Friends, writing ten episodes from the seventeenth series, six from the eighteenth and two episodes from the twenty-third series.

Early Life and Education

He was born and educated in Minnesota, attending Cloquet Middle School and Roger Bacon High School before attending The Ohio State University, graduating with honors. Subsequently he taught math for three years in Grand Marais before moving onto Montana for another three before returning home to Cloquet.

In 2012, Brenner established a healthcare and nonprofit organization which reorganized and jointly ran hospital-based outpatient clinics, leading to increased clinical volume, reduced financial margins and better health outcomes.

Brenner has written extensively on U.S. foreign policy as it relates to Cuba, publishing numerous articles and book chapters including his 2002 study Sad and Luminous Days: A Cuban Perspective on the Missile Crisis (Rowman and Littlefield). Additionally, he serves as an advisory board member of both National Security Archive and Pensamiento Propio.

Professional Career

Brenner has worked in commercial art for more than 30 years, specializing in illustration, animation and package design. His artwork has been displayed at juried and invitational exhibitions around the country; currently, he teaches at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport CT.

After spending his redshirt year at Michigan, Thomas advanced into the starting lineup this season and contributed at various interior offensive line positions throughout.

She specializes in complex product liability litigation and advises companies on risk management strategies in the pre-litigation stage, representing clients across many industries – with particular expertise in aviation and high tech – including representation for aviation incidents and high tech disputes. Additionally, she counsels employers regarding employment matters including wage-and-hour matters, employee investigations and compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.

Achievement and Honors

She earned four letter awards at Roger Bacon High School, was team captain her junior and senior years, earned All-League and All-State recognition and also won All-Freshman honors.

As both a sophomore and junior, she earned selection to the Mid South Conference All-Academic team. As such, she currently leads the school in all-time scoring with 1,228 points scored over time.

Brenner was honored to become one of LSU’s 74th and 75th Boyd Professors in 2017. This title is given only to professors whose work has received both national and international acclaim as well as proven their excellence through teaching and research – it represents LSU faculty members reaching the pinnacle of achievement!

Personal Life

Brenner Thomas is an acclaimed author of children’s books, TV shows and comic strips/cartoons for children. Additionally, his love for travel extends into writing about different countries/regions he visits.

Professor at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport CT where he teaches courses on Photography History and Pastel Painting, in addition to possessing an impressive portfolio of artwork that has been shown at galleries, juried, invitational, and group shows.

He has represented clients in an array of matters, such as commercial litigation, professional liability claims, auto liability coverage issues and insurance coverage disputes. He has represented both large businesses as well as individual professionals. He is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

He is also renowned for his editing talents; having served on dozens of films for some of Hollywood’s premier directors and actors alike, he is well known for bringing out their best performances.

His legacy will live on through his wife, Denise Gingrich Brenner; sons DShaun Brenner and Paul S. Wetter; daughters SSarah Brenner and Rose Brenner; grandchildren such as DShaun Chapman, Jorja Fisher, Raven Walker, Charles Wetter, as well as siblings and his membership of American Cinema Editors.
