Can-Am Defender on test: in Wülfrath
By incorporating proven Can-Am DNA into the Defender model, BRP makes the entry into the side-by-side commercial vehicle segment. Based on proven Rotax engine technology, the Can-Am Defender is a work-ready version of the vehicles with robust V-twin Rotax engines. The new Rotax 50hp HD8 and 72hp HD10 engines are specially calibrated to deliver decent torque.
The new Can-Am Defender was put to the test in Wülfrath. There, the Land Rover Experience site on the off-road test area offers a total of 62 demanding obstacles and passages spread over 120,000 2. A great terrain course was created from around 800 tons of sand and more than 2,500 tons of stones in the former quarry.
