Conrad Vernon, born 11 July 1968, is an American director who is well known as both an award-winning Storybook artist and director for his animated film Monsters Vs Aliens featuring Seth Rogen. Additionally, Conrad is well known as voice actor in various Madagascar films.

Beginning his career as a storyboard artist for Ralph Bakshi’s Cool World, 2 Stupid Dogs and Rocko’s Modern Life before joining DreamWorks. There, he joined the Antz team, wrote the script for Shrek and voiced Gingerbread Man in that movie as well as appearing in Shrek 4-D and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas.

In 2009, he collaborated with Rob Letterman to direct and provide various voices for Monsters vs Aliens; more recently he co-directed adult animated feature Sausage Party as well as contributing several movies from Addams Family film series.
