David Seward – Estate Planning and Probate Attorney

David Seward was the former CEO of Berkshire Youth, a charity that assists young people in West Berkshire. After 22 years with the organization, he decided to step down but will remain involved as a consultant.

Before joining Berkshire Youth, he served as secretary of Surrey County Cricket Club for 15 years, playing an instrumental role in raising funds to support their iconic ‘Save The Oval’ appeal.

David Seward was raised in a large family, so it was imperative that he and his siblings received the proper education. After attending Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC., he then continued on to McCormick Seminary in Chicago, IL.

David is a Board Certified Estate Planner, Trusts & Estates Lawyer, and Probate Expert. He holds membership in the New York State Bar Association in these practice areas.

He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest professional excellence rating available for attorneys. His clients range from individuals and families to businesses and corporations.

He has extensive experience advising clients on the formation of revocable living trusts, insurance trusts, irrevocable charitable trusts and private foundations. Furthermore, he offers legal guidance regarding their administration.

After graduating from Indiana University in 1991, he moved to Alaska. He quickly fell in love with the mountains and glaciers of Seward, and the community has remained his home ever since. Through serving on the Foundation’s Board, he hopes to make a positive impact in this community.

Achievements and Honors

Seward achieved many notable accomplishments throughout his career, such as serving as both President of the United States and Secretary of State. His most significant contributions during this time included preventing foreign intervention in the Civil War and securing Alaska for America in 1867.

His political acumen and creative approach to diplomacy made him one of the most effective secretaries of state in American history. Additionally, he played an instrumental role in resolving disputes between the U.S. and Mexico during the Mexican Revolution.

Seward was an outstanding athlete during his time at Seward High School, excelling in both football and basketball. Additionally, he was part of the state track & field team.

Personal Life

Seward was a highly esteemed and influential figure in American history. Throughout his lifetime, he dedicated himself to community service, striving to make the world a better place.

He served on the charter board of the Seward Community Health Center, was President of the Seward Little League and created the Seward Winter Family Movie Series while serving on the Arts Council as a board member.

He was born and raised in Seward, where he is an active member of the community and enjoys hiking and exploring nature. Married to Dana, he has two children named Sam and Edna.

WWT boasts an annual revenue of $14.5 billion, with Mr. Jones owning 51%. In 1990, he invested $250k from his personal savings to launch WWT into what it is today – now worth $14.5 billion.

His childhood was filled with hardship; his alcoholic father often beat him, his brother and mother, leaving him feeling fearful, angry and insecure. This trauma left him feeling insecure and fear-filled.
