Furthermore, due to his accomplishments, North Carolina Department of Transportation honored him by naming a stretch of highway that serves as an important connector between western Concord and I-85 at Exit 54 interchange.

George Liles founded Liles Construction in 1984 as a residential contracting firm, but quickly realized his expertise lay more in the commercial and industrial realms of construction. Nowadays, his company is one of North Carolina’s premier commercial contracting firms.
He has constructed numerous county schools, university buildings and municipal structures throughout North Carolina’s Piedmont region. Additionally, he was involved in several historic renovation projects like Gibson Mill in Concord and adaptive reuse of WCHS building in Durham.
He specializes in trucking and commercial vehicle litigation, dram shop liability, way and hour claims under FLSA, as well as representing oil field victims in litigation. Recently he managed two mass tort/class action dockets regarding Volkswagen’s emissions ‘cheat’ devices and public drinking water contamination.
