George Mattson is a renowned martial arts author and was the first American to receive a black belt in Uechi-Ryu Karate-do. Additionally, he published one of the first English-language books about Karate and played an integral role in developing Uechi-Ryu’s popularity throughout America.

With over 25 years of investment banking experience, he has provided C-level executives and boards with strategic add-on acquisitions and financings, as well as leading deal teams and negotiating transactions.

He currently sits on the boards of Delta Air Lines, Air France KLM Group, Virgin Galactic, Virgin Orbit and Xos Trucks. With extensive public company board experience as well as SPAC merger board expertise and deep strategic and financial knowledge, he brings a unique perspective to these organizations.
