How To Be A Latin Lover Pubfilm

How to Be a Latin Lover Pubfilm Review

How to Be a Latin Lover is an interesting movie about a Latin American family in the 1950s. The Motion Picture Association of America has rated it PG-13, which means that some of the content may not be suitable for children under 13 years old. There are some strong language and sexual situations.

‘Acapulco’

The title of this Mexican comedy pubfilm is appropriately descriptive: it compresses 25 years of a character’s life into five minutes. However, it quickly devolves into a nearly two-hour slog. Starring Mexican comedy star Eugenio Derbez, “How to Be a Latin Lover” is a cheesy bilingual spoof.

The film is a raucous satire, with the leading man playing a Mexican who marries a rich woman and moves in with her. The movie is a snide comedy, and it pokes fun at the lazy lifestyles of the rich. It even makes fun of extravagant birthday parties and lazy rich people.
