How To Set Environment Variable In Oracle Apps R12

Oracle E-Business Suite has many settings that can be customized to suit your needs. Among those settings is the environment variable $NE_BASE, which stores the base location of the Non-Edition file system. $ADOP_LOG_HOME also specifies the directory in which online patches can be applied. Other settings include the PATH, which specifies the path to a specific directory for control scripts.

You can set an environment variable in Oracle Apps R12 by creating an environment file called Applfenv. This file stores information specific to your app, such as the operating system and version. You can also set it to a specific location on your computer. If you want to make changes to the environment on a particular computer, you can modify your PATH environment variable. If you wish to set this environment variable on a single computer, then make sure you include the Oracle_HOME/bin directory in the PATH environment variable.
