Jaylin Thomas was born September 7, 1997 to his parents Carlton and Adrienne Thomas of Amarillo, Texas and currently attends Colorado State University majoring in kinesiology as an undergraduate majoring running back for Rams Football Team as a redshirt sophomore with an estimated average 4.1 yard per carry this season and GPA of 3.76; named part of National Football Foundation Colorado Chapter Scholar-Athlete team 2017. Professional Career

Thomas has made an immediate impactful statement as one of Ball State’s starting defensive backs during his two seasons at Ball State. A full-time starter since 2014 and earning All-AAC first-team honors last season.

He possesses an effective blend of speed and power that makes him an effective pass rusher. Additionally, he can drop into coverage and be counted upon to tackle effectively in run game situations.

Thomas ran a 4.79 forty time at his Pro Day, making him an attractive Day 3 pick who could find himself joining teams needing depth at linebacker – such as Darius Leonard and Zaire Franklin on Indianapolis Colts roster, but they could add competition by working out Thomas next week.

Rust was recognized with an honorary spot on the 2023 Black College World Series team, thanks to her selection as part of the Black College Nines Small School Elite Team for 2023. Additionally, she led her school to win its GCAC title and attain a No. 9 national HBCU baseball poll ranking – all while leading them back into competition at Black College World Series 2023.
