John Cabbage

John cabbage (Virginia waterleaf) is a leafy green cruciferous vegetable with edible flower buds. It is often used as an addition to salads.

Pointed cabbages were stored from November 2018 to May 2019 under four different CA conditions (1 kPa O2 + 1.5 kPa CO2, 1 kPa O2 + 5 kPa CO2, 3 kPa O2 + 1.5 hCO2 and 3 kPa O2 + 5 hCO2). Quality was evaluated at harvest, halfway (February 2019) and at the end of the storage season.

Early Life and Education

The early years of a child’s life are an important time in their development. It’s a time that can help set the foundation for their learning and emotional wellbeing throughout their lives, UNESCO believes.

Early childhood education (ECE) includes a wide range of programs that prepare children for school. While some focus on academic readiness, others provide a holistic approach that promotes holistic growth and social cohesion.

In addition to providing the basic building blocks for a child’s education, ECE also offers a chance to foster their emotional well-being and develop critical skills in reading, writing, and math. It’s one of the most crucial times in a child’s developmental journey and is an essential investment for a country.
