John Grigley – An Artist, a Skater and a Genuine

Person

John Grigley is an artist and a skater. He is also a genuine person.

He started skating when he was a young boy and became involved with Vision Skateboards in the 80’s. He designed the Grigley 1,2 & 3 Pro Models.

He also created the Vision Guardian & Hippie Stick Art for Vision. These designs were unique and influenced other skateboard artists to do their own graphics for their boards.

Early Life and Education

John Grigley was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He attended Savannah State University and received a degree in mechanical engineering technology. He then went on to work at Railway Packaging System (RPS), now owned by Fed-EX and Daimler-Chrysler. He then joined Vision Skateboards in the 80’s and grew to be involved with designing his graphics for pro-models like Grigley 1, 2 & 3. Today he is an artist, a skater and a genuine person. He is not afraid to speak his mind on social media and is a great example of what you can become when you are true to yourself.

Achievements and Honors

Grigley, a native of Sanford, FL, graduated from Savannah State University in 1987 with a degree in mechanical engineering technology. He was a three-year letterman in football at the university, where he led the team in rushing and became the first running back to gain 1,000 rushing yards from scrimmage in the modern era of Savannah State’s football program.

He is a dedicated husband to Valerie Denise Saunders Grigley, of 41 years, and the father of three children. He and his wife are the co-pastor of The Alabaster House Ministries. They are also the founders of the Guilford Savings Bank Charitable Fund, which benefits low-income individuals and families. In addition, Grigley serves as a volunteer at the Branford Volunteer Services Center. He is a genuine person who believes in the power of education, and encourages others to do the same.

Personal Life

john grigley is a well rounded gentleman with a long list of awards and accolades to his name. Among his most notable achievements are the following: winning the coveted title of Savannah State’s All-American in football; earning a degree in mechanical engineering technology from the same school; obtaining the first medical insurance plan available to students in the state of Georgia; and establishing a storable work-life balance. He is also a bona fide philanthropist who has donated money and time to worthy causes in his spare time. Besides being a quality husband and father, he has a knack for spotting the good stuff on the reg and can’t resist a good deal.
