Early Life and Education

John Hafley grew up in Montvale, New Jersey and is a former college wide receiver. He received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Southeast Missouri State University and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law.

Having served as a police officer, prosecutor and private practitioner, Hafley has extensive criminal justice experience. Boston College head coach Jeff Hafley announced that Notre Dame tight ends coach John McNulty will serve as the team’s offensive coordinator. McNulty has extensive experience at both the NFL and college level. He served as an assistant coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans.
