Shawano Police Officer Michael Weiland has been exonerated of any wrongdoing in connection with Lucas Christenson’s November shooting death at home in Shawano. According to the district attorney, Christenson posed an imminent risk to himself, his wife and other people living there. The actions taken by Weiland may have been justified because Christenson had access to firearms at that time and should have been dealt with accordingly.
