Mecum Family Enterprises are now an expansive enterprise. But their story began as one man’s passion and hard work led him to found one of the world’s renowned auto auction businesses: Mecum Auto Auctions.

Mecum has four sons who all continue the legacy of running parts of his company. Additionally, Patti is part of his Mecum team and works alongside him closely on many projects.

Though numerous websites have reported Mecum’s death, he is indeed alive and well. Mecum and his wife reside in Geneva Lakes region of Southeastern Wisconsin where he has four boys that actively work on his team; nine grandkids also belong to them and his hectic schedule does not keep him from spending quality time with family; inviting his kids along to auctions often.

Mecum and his wife Patti have four sons who all play key roles within the company as well as nine grandkids; they reside in Lake Geneva in Southeastern Wisconsin.
