Nate McBrayer was put through rigorous basketball drills by his father, which instilled him with a competitive drive that eventually paid dividends on the basketball court. Nate played on a Nike-sponsored AAU team alongside Los Angeles Clippers superstar Chris Paul who taught him many valuable lessons about playing basketball.

He first made an impressionful debut on Late Night with Conan O’Brien by parodying his upbringing by portraying stereotypical hillbilly characters, before moving on to play Kenneth Parcell of 30 Rock, for which he earned an Emmy nomination.

He has voiced various characters for The Walt Disney Company, such as Fix-It Felix in Wreck-It Ralph (2012) and Phineas and Ferb, as well as Dr. Ted Goodwin from ABC sitcom The Middle.

Throughout his career he has held various positions at companies and private equity owned organizations; these have included retail sales management, B2B distribution, oil & gas, industrial, parking and tolling revenue management as well as acquisitions, strategic planning and business development.

Colorado College is committed to his development, as he hails from an impressive hockey family with two NHL draftee brothers drafted already. Last season he appeared in 42 games for Colorado College’s Lumberjacks scoring two goals and adding two assists – all while scoring an impressive two goals!

He made over 80 sketches mocking his Southern upbringing in over 80 sketches on Late Night with Conan O’Brien from 2002, often playing stereotypical hillbilly characters. While working at Chicago’s The Second City and IO Theater from 1995-2002 – where he met 30 Rock creator Tina Fey who provided 100% preparation for his role on 30 Rock – he met several members of 30 Rock’s cast including Richard Jenkins who said she prepared him completely for their role on 30 Rock.

He has appeared in films like Talladega Nights, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore; in TV sitcom The Middle (2008) as Dr. Ted Goodwin and provided voices for Wreck-it Ralph and Phineas and Ferb.
