Oliva seconds are cigars produced by tobacco manufacturers with perfectly fermented, but unaged leaves. While most make it into the final product, some are excluded due to minor imperfections on either their wrapper or ring gauge that prevent them from making an impactful statement.

Oliva had an outstanding draft-eligible season at Valencia (California) High School but college scouts seemed more interested in his plus speed than bat. Still, his talent made him an attractive selection for the Yankees with hopes that he might become the first Cuban player ever to win a major league batting crown.

He made the roster and hit.333 over 24 games for an average of three triples and doubles while notching seven homers and 51 RBI – garnering him American League Rookie of the Year honors.

Oliva has been generous with her time, lending it to both brands and celebrities alike. Recently, she collaborated with CASETiFY on phone cases which embody her pop-punk aesthetic, while she also appeared in a gorgeous campaign for beauty brand Glossier.

Oliva has given writing credits to Taylor Swift, Jack Antonoff and St. Vincent for their contributions to her songs. Oliva is also a passionate supporter of LGBTQ community causes by making donations that benefit this cause.

Oliva’s family will remain onboard post-acquisition, as is expected given J. Cortes is also owned and run by family members.
