Steven Landrum has over 34 years of North America and International transactional work experience as a Sales Professional, using his extensive expertise in new business development, account management and go-to-market strategies for distributor and manufacturer businesses.

He leads a weekly life group with friends, as well as volunteering regularly for his local church.

Early Life and Education

He had lived his entire life in Jackson county. A member of Calvary EUB church for thirty years, he worked as a laborer. Sylvia Barlow Landrum mourns her husband’s passing along with two daughters Darla Mae Landrum Haynes and Donna Ruth Landrum Haynes, and four grandchildren.

Landrum’s duties at HCTC include leading the Business Office; overseeing Buildings & Grounds, food service, First Federal Center and bookstore operations as well as safety & security management. In addition, he assists with strategic planning as well as responding to college self-studies for accreditation.

His work includes research on the use of reflective practices in education, analysis of student work as evidence of learning and teaching, arts education partnerships, as well as publishing in several journals and authoring multiple books.

Professional Career

Steve Landrum brings over 34 years of North American and International transactional work experience as both Director of Sales and Sales Manager. His specialties include business development, go-to-market strategies, forecasting sales budgets and developing budget projections.

He coaches football, basketball, baseball and golf – with an emphasis on relationship building between his players beyond surface-level relationships on-field or classroom.

Robert enjoys creating 3-dimensional glass sculptures and windows of various sizes from very small church windows to much larger church windows, ranging from very small sculptures. His work can be found at Riverview Emporium and Terrapin Trading in Norfork; over 38 years of stained glass work are on display there as well. As well as making stained glass items himself he offers classes in his studio; clients include both individuals as well as businesses – his goal being to exceed their expectations with each creation he creates!

He is an experienced sales leader with more than 34 years of North American and International transactional work, including extensive new business development experience, go-to-market strategies, long-term client and partner relationships and long-term contractual arrangements. Additionally, he has served in roles such as Vice President of Sales or National Sales Manager.

He has an unparalleled passion for stained glass art and enjoys crafting windows locally in Melbourne, Yellville and Arkana. His works range from small pieces to church-sized structures; and he relishes taking on new challenges of designing unique designs and sculptures.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather; as well as a steadfast and generous service member in the U.S. Navy. All who knew him will miss him deeply; this includes his wife Linda; sons Ryder Landrum and Chase Landrum, daughters Angela Estenson and Jessica Ladd as well as grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and friends who knew and cared about him.

Personal Life

He was a member of Jackson County Pomona Grange, Limerick Grange and Farm Bureau as well as Faith Baptist Church and Laborers International Union Local 83 for life.

Landrum retired from HCTC after 22 years as Vice President for Business Services at the college and previously teaching biology and division chairing at Lees College. Now retired from work he plans on spending time with his wife, grandchildren, gardening and other hobbies.

Surviving members include daughters Darla Mae Landrum Haynes of Wellston and Margaret Alice Landrum of Jackson; sons Garland Hughy Landrum and Jerry Landrum both from Jackson as well as Marvin Bub Lambert who resided in Mesa Arizona; sister Janice Conley from Columbus; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Roberts has amassed significant wealth due to his success as a radio personality. Yet despite this fortune, he maintains a modest lifestyle; it is estimated that his net worth ranges between $1 – 5 Million.

He currently works as a Private Client Advisor at Texas Capital Bank’s Private Wealth Advisors and uses his 34 years of North American and international transactional experience to offer high-net-worth individuals, families and companies comprehensive financial plans focusing on investment management, private equity and estate planning.

Landrum currently works as an assistant athletic trainer for both Upper Iowa University and Limestone University, responsible for women’s basketball, men’s cross country running programs and track and field. She provides coverage to other sports on campus as needed.
