Osman’s invitation of Malcolm X in 1960s Hanover, an otherwise white community, proved highly controversial. Aside from the lively dorm-room exchanges that ensued, his interpretation skills led to a change in Malcolm’s religious practice away from Nation of Islam dogma that limited Blacks only.

The Bristol Honda Pitbulls are thrilled to welcome back Steve Osman for the 2022-23 season after seeing him accumulate points over two seasons prior.

Early Life and Education

One moment and an unexpected meeting can change the course of a person’s life forever, and Osman and Naomi Beller experienced that first-hand when they met at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital when Osman asked Naomi to get him some X-ray film for one of his patients. From there on out it was love at first sight for both, leading them to marry soon afterwards.

Osman and his wife now share eight grandchildren and are fondly remembered by previous members, such as a Samoyed dog named Pamuk and various felines. Travel has always been important to them and they have traveled to several countries across Europe, Southeast Asia and North America together. Osman’s campaign for Overland Park City Council stems from his desire to listen and consider constituent concerns; should he win, regular town hall meetings will take place.

Professional Career

As property manager of a co-op complex that includes foreign embassies and consulates as clients, Osman had become notorious for underhanded deals and the misappropriation of funds at this property. Shareholders filed a derivative suit against its board alleging Osman used it as his personal piggy bank to steal millions over time.

Osman is also a fixture on British panel shows, including Pointless and Richard Osman’s House of Games. Additionally, he appeared in two special episodes of Dragons’ Den: Pitches to Riches.

Achievement and Honors

Osman has guest-hosted Have I Got News For You, and in October 2014 began hosting Two Tribes on BBC Two quiz show. Additionally, Osman has appeared as a panelist in British comedy shows such as Insert Name Here and was team captain on Richard Osman’s House of Games for Comic Relief.

Osman has worked as a producer for Hat Trick Productions and Endemol UK. He created Pointless, the BBC teatime quiz show he co-presents alongside university friend Alexander Armstrong, as well as serving as executive producer on shows such as Total Wipeout, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Deal or No Deal and Prize Island.

Osman is an associate professor of media studies and production at Temple University, teaching both in their Master of Science in Globalization and Development Communication program and PhD Media and Communications program. Additionally, she serves as faculty affiliate to their Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies/South Asia Center.

Personal Life

Osman is an accomplished painter, producing commissioned pieces for homes and businesses across Bozeman, Montana. Additionally, he enjoys skiing and fly fishing while living there as well as taking art classes to keep his skills sharp. Osman holds a degree in Environmental Biology while taking art classes regularly to sharpen his techniques – his fiction writing includes The Thursday Murder Club and The Man Who Died Twice novels.

He appears as a frequent guest on British television panel shows such as Have I Got News for You and Richard Osman’s House of Games, while being the creator and co-presenter of Pointless TV quiz show.

Wazhmah Osman teaches in Temple University’s Department of Media Studies and Production. Her research centers around new technologies of warfare, violence, and representation that build upon old colonial tropes. Wazhmah also serves as faculty member in Temple’s Masters in Globalization and Development Communication as well as Doctoral Programs in Media and Culture.

Richard has amassed an impressive net worth as the host of popular TV show, Pointless Richard. Having appeared in 22 series of this hit show and currently hosting his own game show House of Games.

David has increased his earnings with guest appearances on popular shows like Would I Lie to You and The Last Leg. Additionally, he’s an active radio DJ as well as authoring two books.

Osman and his firm have also become embroiled in another legal action regarding Acropolis Gardens apartment complex in Queens. Residents claim that Osman and his company misappropriated millions and drove the condominium board into receivership. Osman dismissed these accusations in an interview recently and suggested that an error resulting from wire transfer from 2 Dag Hammarskjold to Acropolis may have been responsible.
