Steven Parrott was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. In 1977 he received his B.S. from Towson University before graduating with honors and distinction from the University of Baltimore School of Law four years later in 1981. Professional Career
Steve Parrott served his country honorably before transitioning into professional sports after leaving military service. An accomplished snooker player, Steve has taken part in numerous tournaments worldwide. Additionally he has provided studio expert analysis on BBC Sport as well as tutorials.
He reached the final of the 1989 World Championship but lost to Steve Davis 3-18 – his most severe loss ever in any world championship final. Nonetheless, he did win the 1991 UK Championship title.

Parrot wrote her books with an honesty characteristic of New York School writers during her time. Her works drew on personal experience as well as observations about contemporary life.
Parrott leaves behind her loving 61-year-old wife Carol; sons Terry and Stephen Tyre, daughter Lisa Morgan and brother Drayton Parrott as well as 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; also many friends and acquaintances from Largo and Clearwater Florida where she resided – she will be dearly missed by many.
