Early Life and Education

Steve Pattison was born in Luseland, Saskatchewan and began his first employment at an early age – selling doughnuts in his school parking lot and harvesting fruit (such as raspberries, cherries and peaches) while attending high school.

He has worked alongside artists and activists in 21 countries on six continents, helping them leverage culture and creativity for political effect. Additionally, he has undertaken large scale public projects that engage new audiences on difficult subjects through social sciences, comedy games and theater.

The judge concluded that while Pattison claimed his guns were for family use, his racist misdemeanor crimes and online postings revealed his white supremacist ideology and intent to use violence against black people. Additionally, his hand bore a tattoo with the word “violence”.

Steve Pattison is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who belongs to the Minnesota Society of CPAs. With extensive experience auditing and accounting for closely held and family owned businesses, as well as serving on Peer Review Committees, Steve brings extensive expertise.

Restaurant Services Inc, a cooperative that oversees supply chain activities for Burger King restaurants across the US. He has over two decades of engine business experience including OEM (Rolls-Royce and IAE) selection, commercial analysis and MRO contract negotiation.

In 2011, SRU honored him with the President’s Civic Engagement Ambassador Award in recognition of his service at Storm Harbor Equestrian Center – providing horse-assisted activities and therapies to children and adults with disabilities throughout Butler County. Pattison has held positions on several non-profit boards and currently works for Restaurant Services Inc (RSI) of Coral Gables to manage BKC’s system-wide food and supply chain operations. Pattison serves on two of RSI subsidiaries’ boards of directors – Franchise Acceptance Corporation Limited and Diversity Foods Processing LLP.
