Early Life and Education

Walberg was raised in North Dakota. He attended rural schools in Viking Township before graduating from Colfax High School in 1944 and serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.

Wahlberg was raised in a family with nine siblings. At an early age, he battled drug addiction and violent tendencies before dropping out of high school at fourteen to pursue a life of petty crime and drugs.

Wahlberg is the founding partner of Denver Trial Lawyers, where his practice specializes in personal injury and wrongful death litigation. In addition, he hosts the Sword of the Spirit television series as host. Wahlberg has published multiple books, been interviewed on over 500 radio and television programs and been invited to speak at events at both the Pentagon and US Senate.

Professional Career

Troy Briggs oversees Goodman’s national industrial portfolio’s development, acquisition and leasing. A member of NAIOP, CSCMP, IREM and CCIM with over two decades of real estate finance experience, Troy has over twenty years of expertise.

Prior to joining Goodman, Troy successfully oversaw the redevelopment of over 17 million square feet of industrial/flex and office space for Liberty Property Trust as well as serving as Director of Leasing & Investments for Birtcher Development & Investments.

He was honored as a Fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates and recognized by 5280 Magazine as Colorado’s Best Personal Injury Lawyer for two consecutive years (2014 and 2016). Valerie Walberg survives him, as does Todd S. Walberg; funeral services will be held Monday October 13 in Sandy.

Steve Walberg was an active member of his community, serving as President of the Portland Bar Association and past Director of Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. He was well known for utilizing innovative trial techniques such as medical animations and cutting edge technology to inform and persuade jurors. Due to this success he earned membership into Million Dollar Advocates Forum as well as an AV Preeminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell; additionally Colorado Trial Lawyers Association honored him with their 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award due to his career achievements and professionalism; he leaves behind Valerie Walberg from Sandy and son Todd S Walberg from Milwaukie who will continue this legacy of expertise in Colorado Trial Lawyers Association membership.

Personal Life

David Houle is the host and executive producer of Sword of the Spirit television series and has spoken in both the Pentagon and U.S. Senate. Additionally, he serves as speaker/director at White Horse Media as well as being author of 23 books.

Wahlberg has appeared in multiple movies such as Entourage and Boardwalk Empire since shedding his former stage name of Marky Mark in 1993. He made his acting debut the following year in Danny DeVito’s Renaissance Man.
