Today his legacy lives on in this family-run nursery that has been serving California, Washington State Oregon Idaho Utah Utah with over two generations.

Stanek currently serves on the City of West Bend Value Task Force, Holy Angels School Board Liaison Committee, Kettle Moraine YMCA youth athletics volunteer committee and Slinger Gridiron Football Club board member as well as Washington County Boys & Girls Club basketball coach / Washington Hoops youth sports program board member responsibilities.

Following the turn of the millennium, he drove a tractor trailer for eight years while earning a master’s degree in fiction writing along the way. Now living with three daughters in Greensboro North Carolina.

Stanek is a left-handed pitcher known for using four-seam fastballs that sit between 90s and low 100s, as well as an accompanying slider, to produce an extremely low 1.15 ERA/WHIP rate through 54.2 innings this year with 17 holds and has only had to use this pitching style as an opener with the Rays; making 59 appearances (29 starts). In these 59 appearances (29 starts), his K:BB ratio reached 24:9.

Personal Life

Stanek lives with his wife in West Bend, Wisconsin, with three children in tow. He’s active in his local community through various organizations: West Bend Sunrise Rotary Club Board membership; Holy Angels Parish Council membership; City of West Bend Value Task Force membership and Kettle Moraine YMCA youth sports volunteering activities are just a few examples.

He is an avid baseball fan, supporting the Tampa Bay Rays with great passion. Known for his high 90s fastball and powerful splitter, he currently holds 23 wins against one loss this season.
