Method 3 – table salt

Immediately sprinkle the stain with a little table salt, just as you did with the grease stains, and wait for the salt to absorb the red wine. If that doesn’t work the first time, repeat the procedure. Then try not to rub the salt in, but to shake it out. When the stain is gone, rinse off with lukewarm water.

You can also remove red wine stains with glycerine and egg yolk. This method is particularly suitable for colored textiles. Mix 50 g of glycerin with an egg yolk and apply the substance to the stain and let it work for a few hours. Then wash as usual.

Another use of glycerin is when you soak the dress or tablecloth in cold water with glycerin. In a few minutes, rinse off with water and vinegar.

The third option is the following substance: Mix glycerine, washing-up liquid and water in a ratio of 1: 1: 8. Mix everything together carefully and press some of it onto the stain with a Sponge. Repeat the procedure several times, always with a clean sponge, as long as the stain is completely absorbed. Rinse the area with water.
