Achievement and Honors
Saggau did not seem particularly pleased with his initial attempt during the February 16 triple jump event at LT, scoring 46 feet five inches, but this distance proved more than sufficient to break both school and personal records. Saggau attributes his success to his commitment and overall investment in this sport that began back when he started in seventh grade at St Francis Xavier.
He credits his competitive spirit to his family and coaches as one of the main components of his success on track and field, hoping to continue by winning an outdoor conference title and an all-state triple jump championship title.
