She has provided assistance on a broad array of complex civil litigation, bankruptcy and criminal defense matters in both state and federal courts, including white collar criminal defense matters as well as labor/employment related matters such as discrimination harassment retaliation.
Toni also served as an assistant coach at Cal State East Bay under Suzy Barcomb, helping guide them to their first WNIT appearance in years. As of now, she oversees international recruiting and player development along with academic liaison duties and scouting reports. Toni considers herself a “yoga gypsy”, owning Salt Yoga in East Lansing as her home base.
Professional Career
Toni Thomas has written numerous books and magazine articles on various subjects. She holds a master’s degree in business administration and serves on both the ALSAC Boards and Governors for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital – founded by her father – where she currently sits.
Thomas was previously an assistant women’s basketball coach at Cal State East Bay under head coach Suzy Barcomb and also served as an assistant at Monroe High School in Los Angeles and West Coast Premier Basketball Academy.
Salt Yoga in Michigan’s capital city, Lansing is where she operates her studio where she educates clients on its health benefits. Her figurative clay sculptures have been featured in art galleries and literary magazines; she also enjoys teaching cooking to her students to bring joy and pleasure.
