Tracey Nelson was born in Santa Monica, California to Ricky Nelson (an award-winning musician/actor), Kristin Harmon (an actress), and Hazel Dell and Roy Hilliard Snyder (vaudeville performers) as her great grandparents, with Mathew and Gunnar currently being members of Nelson (the 1990s rock band).
