What does “DRL” mean on the headlight switch?

Many Audi drivers do not know what the “DRL” switch position means: Audis often drive around during the day without the expensively purchased daytime running lights! “DRL” stands for Daytime Running Lights, i.e. daytime running lights. In this switch position, the daytime running lights, which are usually optically very valuable on Audi, are active and you can also be seen much better with them. So during the day you should always set the switch to “DRL” and not to “0”.
