Dan Collette – An Unabashed Cheerleader and Talented Thespian

Daniel Collette is a visiting professor of philosophy at Marquette University. His areas of specialization include ethics, metaphysics, epistemology and existentialism; in addition to that he is currently undertaking work related to virtual reality.

Philosophy lecturer Jason is one of Marquette University’s premier lecturers! A lovely gentleman, he takes his work seriously without taking shortcuts and wants you to fully comprehend its material.

Early Life and Education

Dan Collette was an unwavering cheerleader and talented thespian who thrived during his missionary service for Latter Day Saints in Switzerland. After winning a regional drama competition and receiving full tuition to Brigham Young University for theatre studies.

After moving to Los Angeles, he met Josephine Joy and began his acting career. He made his film debut in 2004’s Connie and Carla before garnering significant acclaim as Cameron Diaz’s promiscuous sister in Little Miss Sunshine (2006).

She expertly navigated the often sensitive territory of mental illness for comic relief in United States of Tara (2009-11), before lending her voice for Krampus (2015) as part of an animated romp.

Professional Career

After graduating high school, he distinguished himself as both a cheer leader and gifted thespian by attending Brigham Young University on a full theatre scholarship. Following that experience, he then served in Switzerland Zurich mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Collette hasn’t hesitated to tackle challenging roles since first making her mark as the playful bride-to-be in Muriel’s Wedding, an Australian romantic comedy. From multiple personality cult member in Showtime’s United States of Tara to appearing as multiple personalities for Showtime’s United States of Tara.

Velvet Buzzsaw finds her playing a gallery owner terrorized by an antisocial art critic in this horror-comedy flick, while Kaitlyn Dever co-stars as part of a dramatic thriller based on real life investigation of serial rapist. Both projects can be found streaming on Netflix.

Dan was at the core of Collette, leading it into becoming a global tour operator by innovating constantly and leading with love. His focus on family, faith, and travel made a profound impactful impression upon all those he worked alongside him.

Dan has left an indelible mark on our company, as many of his children continue to work there and The Sullivan Foundation provides children in our communities and around the globe with opportunities to thrive.

Personal Life

Dan, an enthusiastic leader on his high school cheer squad and talented thespian, took home first prize in a regional drama competition that earned him a full scholarship to Brigham Young University’s theatre department. Later he served his mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Switzerland Zurich before meeting Vicki Low – whom he eventually proposed marriage to and fell deeply in love.

Family was at the core of his life. He often cited “God, Family and Collette” as his top three priorities – something which guided both his personal life and company success.

He was the proud parent of seven children, grandfather to 26 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Additionally, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, sports and frequented Henry King’s orphanage in Hondorus where he made generous donations in support of those less fortunate than himself.

Collette has earned much acclaim and respect as an actress, not to mention earning millions of dollars through movies and shows; today she boasts a net worth estimated at over $18 Million dollars.

Recently, she has appeared in horror films like Krampus and Hereditary, working alongside Daniel Radcliffe on Imperium and XXX: Return of Xander Cage as well as having a part in Netflix series Unbelievable.

She owns an exquisite home in Sydney, Australia which she and her husband purchased for $6 Million in 2011. Situated in a coveted neighborhood close to both downtown Sydney and Bondi Beach, their beautiful five-bedroom property has a terrace as well as courtyard space for outdoor enjoyment.
