Driving report: Audi A6 3.0 TDI Multitronic

We recently got the latest version of the Audi A6 available for a weekend – enough time to outline the most important characteristics and strengths/weaknesses. The report is mainly about the peculiarities of the automatic (in our case Audis Multitronic) and the 3 liter turbo diesel engine.
The exact model designation is: Audi A6 3.0 TDI V6 (150kw / 204 hp) with 8-speed Multitronic as a sedan. Year of construction of our A6 was summer 2011. As special equipment, “only” parking distance sensors at the front and rear as well as their visual and acoustic display in the cockpit, the large color navigation system, the 4-zone Climatronic (2 front, 2 rear), Keyless Go and a CD changer as part of the multimedia system should be mentioned. Extras such as steering wheel heating, xenon headlights, automatic light/rain system and electronically adjustable, heated front seats should be considered “common” in the vehicle class.
