How to Create LDT File in Oracle Apps R12

An LDT file is a configuration file used to deploy components to different instances of an Oracle R12 Application. This file has two modes of operation. In one mode, the LDT file loads data from an existing LDT file. In the other mode, it uses the current instance’s config file. The first mode is the default setting, which is the recommended one. To translate an LDT file for an Oracle apps database, you need to use the FNDLOAD function. You can do this by selecting the “export” option from the FNDLOAD menu.
