With each album that was released by Danzig, their sound became darker and heavier. By 1994’s Danzig 4 release, they had fully transitioned into heavy gothic metal group.

Jeff is an active member of the Michigan Bar Association, the Wayne County and Macomb County Bar associations as well as the American Bar Association. Additionally, he frequently contributes to various publications regarding environmental law matters.

Early Life and Education

Danzig developed a strong religious faith as he grew up, often captivating townsfolk with his ability to quote lengthy passages from scripture. After witnessing his father die in an haberdashery explosion, however, his religious conviction suffered but ultimately returned after realizing he could no longer exert control over God’s actions against vengeful acts against humanity.

He earned both his BA from Reed College and JD from Yale Law School. Additionally, he served as a clerk to Supreme Court Justice Byron White.

Jeff held an intake department management position at a prominent personal injury firm for 18 years before joining Ven Johnson Law in 2014. As such, he oversees each case that comes through our firm for review and evaluation before being given admission to practice before the Supreme Court of Michigan and membership with Macomb County, Wayne and Oakland County Bar Associations.

As a musician, he has performed with various bands across a range of genres. He co-founded Samhain with Eerie Von and London May from Rosemary’s Babies releasing two dark punk albums: Initium in 1984 and November-Coming-Fire two years later.

Jeff Danzig is an active member of Michigan’s legal community. He holds memberships with several professional organizations – such as the State Bar of Michigan and U.S. District Court for both Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan; American Association for Justice; as well as personal injury firms throughout the U.S. He has successfully litigated cases both state and federal courts across the country as a personal injury attorney.

Before opening his own firm, Jeff worked at an esteemed personal injury law firm in Detroit for 18 years. Since 2014, he has joined Ven Johnson Law and remains responsible for litigation and intake department responsibilities at this firm.

Danzig has made a name for himself not only as a litigator but also as an accomplished musician. A co-founder of Misfits and later, Samhain with Eerie Von (of Rosemary’s Babies fame). With Samhain came two albums; Initium in 1984 and November-Coming-Fire two years later.
