A Clearwater Man Beats His Girlfriend With His Truck

Deputies say a Clearwater man hit and attacked his girlfriend with his truck on Pineda Causeway East of I-95 Thursday afternoon, leaving her severely injured and taken to a local hospital where she remains critical.

According to the sheriff’s office press release, 33-year-old Daniel Patregnani exited his vehicle naked and began attacking the victim by striking and choking. Good Samaritans managed to temporarily restrain Patregnani.
