Early Life and Education

Rabbi Shribman hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and studied history at Dartmouth College before enrolling as a Reynolds Scholar to complete graduate school studies in European and African history at Cambridge University in England.

She conducted her rabbinic thesis on how experiential education could unite Jews of differing backgrounds, with an emphasis on interfaith families and spiritual journeys.

Professional Career

Dan Shribman began his professional career following graduation from Dartmouth College as a Portfolio Manager for a special situation asset management firm. There, he managed investments across general industrials, transportation, automotive, aerospace gaming hospitality and real estate sectors – along with close work with management teams and boards to maximize shareholder value through operational turnarounds, capital market financings, communication initiatives and operational turnarounds.

Shribman currently serves as Chief Investment Officer of B. Riley Financial Inc (Nasdaq:RILY), as well as serving on its audit committee since 2021. In addition, he is President of both Alta Equipment Group Inc and Eos Energy Enterprises Inc, both blank check companies with which B. Riley Financial has an affiliation and one that sponsors SPACs; Shribman serves on both boards simultaneously.

Daniel Shribman is an unassuming individual who values time spent with family. Additionally, he has taken part in various charitable activities – serving as Chairman of Lewis ig, an IT business, since July 2004 and Presidence of Rislov Foundation since November 2003 respectively.
