Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill was born in Saint Saviour, Jersey – a British Crown dependency located in the Channel Islands – of Irish, Scottish and English heritage. He received private education at St Michael’s Preparatory School in Saint Saviour as well as Stowe School in Buckinghamshire England.

After Tuesday’s third round at Miami Beach Golf Club he currently leads by three strokes, followed by Luke Clanton who won North & South Amateur this summer as well as Virginia Cavaliers duo Deven Patel and George Duangmanee who trail him by four.
