John Rothenberger was born on month day 1827, in birth place, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Samuel and Magdalena (Heckman) Rothenberger.

He was educated in the schools of the township and at Oley Academy, where he became licensed to teach. He has since taught in thirty-two terms.

Having become a member of the Lutheran Church, he is the father of ten children, nine of whom are living; Emma; James; Ellen; Frederick; Thomas; Minnie; Katie; and Lillian.

He was engaged in the lime-burning business, burning considerable lime, and he has two kilns at Sigmund, where he has been for twelve years. He employs from six to twelve men. He is a practical man, and understands his business thoroughly. He is also very successful in his business.

Professional Career

John Rothenberger, founder of one of the first IT product reselling companies in the country, has a knack for innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit. He is the managing partner for Volition Partners, a firm that specializes in helping entrepreneurs start and build successful startup businesses that last.

When he isn’t in the office, he loves spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys golfing and watching sports. He has a vested interest in the community, having served on many boards and volunteer committees. He is a member of the board of directors for the Scranton Counseling Center and has been a tireless advocate for the mental health field. Personal Life

john rothenberger was born on September 25, 1973 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He is the son of James and Rosemary Finck. He is a member of the United States Army National Guard.

He is married to Missy and they have a daughter Mallory who is 6 years old. He plays ice hockey in the local men’s leagues and Dekhockey.

The family is members of the Zion’s church. He is a firm believer in Democratic principles and has served as committeeman of Oley township, and as assistant assessor. He is also a member of Minnehaha Lodge, No. 154, Knights of Malta; Oley Castle, No. 119, K. G. E; and Council No. 123, O. U. A. M, of Oley.

He is the grandson of Daniel Rothenberger, who carried on a farm in Muhlenberg township until 1876, when he removed to Reading. He was twice married, and by his first wife Catherine Miller, he had ten children; Franklin, Obediah, Frederick, Jacob, Catherine, Sallie, Levi, Lizzie and Daniel.
