The transformation of a chapel into modern living space
The building of this former chapel in England now serves as an extraordinary holiday home. This building with its historical appearance was neglected for years. After its renovation, the guests can now enjoy the homely atmosphere and visit the sights inside the former chapel. Take a look there too and enjoy a can of traditional interior:

The beautiful interior of a former chapel
First the roof, the doors and the windows were repaired to prevent further water damage.

The white walls optically create more space
The original design actually envisaged three guest bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen area (consisting of a dining and living room). The reconstruction project was carefully carried out so that the area is sufficient and the interior remains authentic. The imposing arched windows in Gothic style were part of the former building and have been restored. Custom-made window glasses and shutters have been added to complete the overall picture.

High ceilings and large Gothic-style windows provide plenty of light
The modernized kitchen and dining area is flooded with light because of the numerous windows. The kitchen has modern kitchen accessories such as the hanging shelf for pots and pans and the extractor hood. We are observing a mix of styles: country house style, industrial and modern styles are masterfully combined here.

The original rafter roof was also retained.

Seating for all seven guests of the holiday home
There are comfortable seats for the guests with numerous decorative pillows. The warmth of the fireplace creates a romantic atmosphere on cold evenings.

The common living and dining room is cozy
The former chapel can now accommodate seven people in three double rooms and one single room. The bed cabinet ensures an optimal division of the room. The wooden wall creates a contrast to the white furniture.
