Dan Hancock Dies at 59

Personal Life

Dan Hancock outlived biblical expectations by living for threescore years and ten. A loving husband, father and son; brother; friend. Proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who helped young men attain Eagle Scout Awards.

Hancock brings extensive business experience to several corporations, having held executive roles at each such as serving as President of Strategic Product Alliances at GM and as President of Isuzu-Fiat-GM Powertrain joint ventures VM Motori and DMAX diesel engines joint ventures respectively. Furthermore, he is an honors graduate of both Army Management Staff College’s Senior Leader Development Program and Air War College.

At Shapell, he was involved with the design and development of several Bay Area communities such as Dougherty Valley in San Jose and Evergreen Hills in Gilroy.
