Early Life and Education

Bogoyevac was raised in Newbury Park, California where his father introduced him to hockey when he took him to his first Los Angeles Kings game at age 4. One year later he was skating on ice with a hockey stick – eventually participating in youth league ice hockey leagues and junior hockey in Sioux City South Dakota; even being invited by United States Hockey League junior teams but declining their scholarship offers in order to focus on college education instead.

After graduating from UAA with a BBA in marketing, Bogoyevac stayed for another four seasons of playing hockey at UAA and is currently competing with Seattle Blades of the Elite Roller Hockey League, giving him an opportunity to compete against both minor league and professional ice hockey players for selection into an NHL team.

Professional Career

Bogoyevac has since built an outstanding career in commercial real estate. As an executive director with Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi Housing Group, his focus lies on multifamily properties. Together with his team, he works tirelessly to help protect and expand clients’ investment portfolios with expert research services along with comprehensive advisory, marketing, transaction, and financial services.

Bogoyevac, along with former teammates Brian Kraft (BBA Marketing ’91) and Doug Spooner, has taken an active part in raising money to reinstate UAA hockey as an athletic program at UAA. Together they have agreed to match any donations from Seawolf alumni dollar for dollar – something other Seawolves alumni will hopefully take note of as they consider renewing the team!

Personal Life

Bogoyevac and his UAA hockey teammates united during an uncertain time to protect the future of Seawolf Hockey. Brian Kraft, an Alaskan fish lodge owner who studied marketing and real estate as an undergraduate and now leads investments for an investment firm in California called Bogie Capital Partners; together donated $50,000 each towards saving Seawolf Hockey through their Save Seawolf Hockey campaign, with pledges that they will match contributions up to that amount.

Bogoyevac leads an experienced multifamily and 1031 exchange team at Marcus & Millichap who are widely renowned for their market knowledge, personalized service, and client collaboration. His team specialize in apartment and net-leased properties throughout South Bay, Long Beach, and Los Angeles regions.

Net Worth

Bogoyevac, as senior managing director investments of Marcus & Millichap’s South Bay/Long Beach office and founder of Bogie Investment Group, has successfully brokered over $1.2 billion across 554 transactions totalling more than $120 billion since 2001. Specializing in multifamily and net leased properties across Southern California, he was named Marcus & Millichap’s Long Beach/South Bay Apartment Specialist of the Year seven times and nationally acclaimed agent with 1031 exchange expertise – his team boasts expertise across multifamily, office and other property types alike!
