Shugaa is a modern, beautifully designed coffee house in Bangkok, Thailand. This innovative building project was designed and implemented by party / space / design studio and the opening followed in January 2016. The contemporary design was inspired by sugar crystals and the colors of the sweet treats in a coffee house. Pastel tones, light wood, marble and rose gold have been combined very skillfully in the modern ambience. Great geometric shapes appear both outside and inside. Stylized and minimalist forms stand out everywhere in the ambience, which gives the room a modern and clear look.

The experienced chef Thai has come up with a creative menu with tasty desserts and always surprises his visitors with new delicacies and fragrant coffee and with the unusual and cozy atmosphere in the house. The sugar crystal concept is the foundation of the project and you can feel its influence from the smallest detail to the facade of this building.

The glass facade is clad with a polygonal wooden lattice, which is reminiscent of the sugar crystals. Through the transparent wall you can immediately see the modern light body in rose gold, whose shape resembles the sugar molecule. Using subtle elements in the interior in rose gold and the marble counter, the designers create a modern and luxurious look in the room. The coffee cupboard is divided into two levels, which are connected by a fascinating spiral staircase made of wood and acrylic glass. The railing is made of acrylic glass and looks like gigantic sugar crystals are hugging the stairwell. On the first level there is the charming marble counter with a beautiful polygonal relief and the comfortable seating area for customers, who can make themselves comfortable on comfortable upholstered furniture and enjoy the fantastic desserts. The soft pastel tones create an extremely cozy and relaxing atmosphere in the whole room. The gold-colored elements such as table frames and light bodies set a chic accent in the room. The atmosphere on the second floor is more private and this is the ideal quiet spot for a delicious dessert and refreshing drink while meeting friends, chatting or working. This area is also suitable for private parties or workshops.
