A new addition to the ‘Held’ range is a high-quality yet affordable full-face helmet made from carbon fiber. Compliance with the European test standard ECE 22.05 is a matter of course. The 100% carbon fiber structure of the helmet shell is hidden under a protective clear coat. The new helmet is available in sizes XS to XXL. Two inner shell sizes optimize the fit and reduce the weight. The helmet weighs 1150 grams (+/- 50 grams) and is one of the lightest full-face helmets on the market.
The lining and the cheek pads are removable and can be washed or replaced. Thanks to the good, integrated visor mechanism, the visor can be replaced entirely without tools and in a few seconds. In addition, due to the seamless edging in the shell, the airflow does not find any points of attack to lead to background noise inside.
The clear and scratch-resistant visor is standard. Of course there is a selection of replacement visors: clear and heavily tinted (17.95 euros), silver mirrored and purple mirrored (each for 19.95 euros).
The Travel X is also equipped with a ventilation opening on the chin and forehead. A ratchet quick-release fastener is used as the chin strap closure.
