The How and the Why by Sarah Treem

The How and the Why by Sarah Treem is a comedy written by an American writer. She began her career in the theatre before moving into television writing. She produced and wrote three seasons of HBO’s drama In Treatment. For which she was nominated for the WGA Award. She also co-created The Affair, the Showtime drama about a relationship, and House of Cards’ first season. In between, she taught playwriting at Yale University.
