Where do you indicate the child on your CV?

Most applicants realize that children can, if desired, be listed in the first place in the résumé, namely in the personal data block. The information in the application would then be, for example: Monika Schmidt, born on X, married, two children.

Why is a résumé important?

Together with the cover letter, the résumé represents the application’s individual business card. This way, you can make it clear to the HR manager that you, as an applicant, fit into the advertised job profile. This information also allows the HR manager to draw conclusions about the applicant’s strengths and weaknesses.

What is a résumé?

The curriculum vitae (also Curriculum Vitae, CV or CV for short, Vitae Cursus or Résumé) lists the most important individual data of a person in writing. In applications it is usually presented in tabular form, but in exceptional cases it can also be written in text form.
